The beginning of the journey…

brain bloom

My wife said, “You’re not gonna be political on your blog?”  Well, I don’t know how what I’ve learned can be torn asunder from my political understandings, any more than my life lessons can be severed from my faith.

What I do know is I can’t hold in the truth, as I’ve discovered it, any more!  Some may benefit from my burden-filled life lessons, whether it be a political insight focusing on societal issues, or a faith walk perspicacity that can help others walk in relationship with our very own Creator, or those others we walk with through life.

“THE TIME CAME WHEN THE RISK IT TOOK TO REMAIN TIGHT IN THE BUD BECAME MORE PAINFUL THAN THE RISK IT TOOK TO BLOOM”…” – Anais Nin

While I don’t agree with the view of the above author Nin, I do adhere to the quote.  My God has saved me from myself, and has enabled me to overcome the past failures of my existence, for some reason greater than my own knowledge.  To keep them locked within, and without expression, would not only be painful to my conscience, but would be an injustice to the spirit within my life that longs to be known.  So here will be the dwelling of the musings the Maker of my soul has put upon my heart.
